Sometimes emails I delete on other devices are not deleting on iPhone. I log into gmail.com and can confirm the message has been deleted and no longer on the server however the emails still appear on iPhone.
When I attempt to delete the email from iPhone (even though it shouldn't be there as it's been deleted from the other device), it says Unable to Move Message etc etc... (this is because the message is actually no longer there, exists on the server) yet iPhone still displays it in the Mail app.
The only way to remove the emails is to toggle off the Mail Account in iOS then toggle back on again.
Seems like a cosmetic issue.
IMAP settings all fine. This is for a Google Exchange account (G Suite).
