Google+ Instant Uploads

Hi Guys,

So I'm trying Google+ out as a way of having my photos uploaded and synced across my devices, the app seems okay but I'm noticing issues with the instant upload feature..basically it works fine and uploads my photos, but only once the Google+ app is opened..it won't upload any photos "automatically" until the app is opened..is this normal? I also noticed this issue with the automatic upload feature with Dropbox too..

Like most apps on iOS, they don't work in the background so those two wont upload photos until you actually open the up
