The new google maps is supposed to offer iPad support and interface. But on my mini it is still showing the zoomed in iPhone mode. Was it related to the fact that it's running iOS 7?

Does it work on yours?

looked for an automatic update last night but didn't see it, so did a search on Google Maps at the App Store and it came up as "update", completed the update and it's working properly on my mini, full screen and all features work fine. Running OS7 beta3.

Works fine on my iPad mini. Maps of my neighbourhood are newer on Google maps than Apple maps.

I had the same problem when I downloaded Google Maps on my iPad mini, I even deleted it and tried again and nothing. I went to the App Store to see if maybe I downloaded the wrong one and then I realized I had an update waiting, so I downloaded the update and then everything worked fine.

Thanks. Didn't realize update is needed right after a new download.
