Google Maps app showing offline/no connection?

For some reason today, my Google Maps app will not load Internet connection data for real time traffic conditions, or searching for locations.
I know for sure it was working this morning.

I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and making sure all the permissions are set correctly, but it still will not work.

I’ve also tried rebooting my phone several times.

Apple Maps works as well as all other apps have Internet connection.
Anyone else have this happening?
Or has anyone had this and knows a fix?

I’m running the iOS 26 RC.
