Google Maps Full-Screen lag?

Hey there,

Does anybody with an iMac or MBP experience a huge lagging orgy when you open Google Maps in full screen in Safari and try to use the Satellite view in 3D? On Windows it's always buttery smooth but on my retina iMac which should have enough power not to stutter, it does lag quite a bit...

Which browser? Retina resolution means 4x the pixels of a normal resolution. And probably your iMac is not 4x faster than the Windows running a non retina resolution.
