Sometimes I'll go into Maps and if I zoom back from wherever the map is (if it's somewhere foreign), I'll see that my position is pulsing. The GPS button isn't activated but it's still getting my location. If I hit the GPS button it zooms on my areas, and if I hit it again to deactivate it it doesn't stop pulsing. Did this always happen because I don't remember always seeing my position in the app unless I asked it to find me?

You've been bugged! Here's how to protect yourself:

- Find your closest body of water ie. Ocean, Sea, Gulf, Lake, River, Pond, Toilet or puddle.
- Place (or toss) your iPhone into the deepest part of your chosen body of water.
- Rejoice that you are free.

On a more serious note, I have no idea why your phone is doing that. Try "Settings>General>Location Services>Off" Then open maps and see if it still pulsates, if not do a soft reset and then turn location services back on. If this doesn't fix it I really have no idea. Cheers - Eric
