Google Maps in iPhoto: Satellite and Terrain do not match

If I want to geotag my pictures in iPhoto with Google Maps, should I rely on the Terrain or the Satellite view? It seems that in several regions, the Terrain and the Satellite view in Google Maps do not match. Which is more reliable?
