Google maps not localized to UK?

i agree with other forum members that it's a 'bug'

distances are shown in KM as mentioned in other threads and has anyone noticed that addresses are all set to the USA? When you search for and address with a contact, it will automatically put USA the end...why can't google maps know what country you're in and search that country/city at least!

I've never had any difficulties finding somewhere using Google Maps in the UK.

Although I do agree that only having the options for Km and M is a bit tame.

I've fed this back via www.apple.com/feedback

Didn't know if there is an option to feed this back direct to Google though.
