Google Maps now has Night Mode!

I have been begging Google via the feedback option for years to please add night mode, offering numerous reasons why they should compile it in, to stop with the politics, etc.

I just received a personal email from the development team.

I saw that in the update notes. Nice you got a personal reply. Question: what do you mean by "politics"?
