iPhone 12 Google Maps on iPhone(Xs and 12) can't find route Bloomington, CA to Chicago, IL?

Google Maps on iPhone(Xs and 12) can't find route Bloomington, CA to Chicago, IL? It keeps telling me that the route can't be found.

If I open Google Maps(logged into the same account as on my iPhones) on my Android phone(Galaxy Note 20 Ultra) or my PC(any browser), there's no problem find the route.

Does anybody know what the problem might be?

Did you try a specific address on both ends?

Just tried it on my XR with iOS 14.4.2 and it finds two routes. Recommended is I15 to I70. I've had the problem before and usually changing the search parameters some fixes the issue. Trying a different, nearby address seems to work.
