Google Maps problem with jailbreak/unlock

After jailbreak and unlock on my iphone 4 Google maps is not functioning properly in as much as the screen freezes whilst in maps and pinch to zoom does not work. Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

No unlock. Works fine on my JB IP4.

I have an iPhone4 JB and maps freezes up on me when on wifi but works fine on 3G.

Yes same for me, Maps app freezes.

EDIT: Seems to be an issue with the latest mobilesubstrate. Hopefully a fix soon..

Maps Fixed

This morning Cydia had the new MobileSubstrate 0.9.3228-1.

After the update and reboot Maps seems to be back to normal.

how did you get this update? My maps app is having the same issues. I went to cydia and I don't see any updates... Any help would be appreciated.

How do you upgrade to the new mobile substrate? Is it an automatic update from cydia or do I have to go somewhere on cydia to do it? I am having this same freezing problem on the maps app and really want to fix this!

It's not an automatic upgrade, has to be done manually.

In Cydia go to Changes, after it loads, all updates should show up on top.
