I purchased a touch when it came out last year. One of the functions I used all the time was checking my commute from home to work and vice versa. I would open Google Maps, select home and work from my favorites and the map would pop up instantly with travel times. At the end of the day, I would open the Maps application, click Edit and then simply press the up/down arrow to the left of the Start and End text fields. Pressing this button would automatically switch the Start and End addresses and show my reverse commute. I purchased the 3G when it came out and ever since day 1, the up/down arrow to the left of the text fields has never worked. Thought it may be fixed in one of the software updates but still not working. It's like a dead button. It doesn't even highlight to show that it has been pressed. Very disappointing as it made looking up the reverse commute a breeze. Anyone having a similar problem with reversing the directions in Google Maps?

If you have a part of your screen that isn't responding to touches, take it back to the store.

I've had the same problem - I wouldn't say it was a faulty screen - If i get it i just route the normal route, then edit, go back to it, and it usually works then.
In my eyes it's a definite bug.

It has happen to me before, report the bug to apple. Maybe they can fix it in a later patch.

Definitely not a screen issue. The reverse button simply does not work in google maps for me. I'll report it as a bug to apple.
