When using the app Google Maps, I can zoom in to a location, by double tapping, but I can't seem to zoom out again. Can it be done?

Double-right-click. Or, if you're on a relatively new laptop, double-tap with both fingers (if you've got two-finger-tap set up to right click).
you know how you can zoom in by putting your your thumb and index finger in the middle of the screen and slowly pulling your index to the top right corner and your thumb to the bottom left corner.. well yea to zoom out you just do the opposite

ummmmm, just tap the screen with 2 fingers to zoom out.
Holy crap I've had my Touch since November and I never knew that! I was always pinching to zoom out, which is a bit of a pain in the ass. Awesome, thank you sooooooo much!

Thanks for that! The pinch in and out; the tap with one finger for in and two fingers apart for out both work. This is an amazing machine. Does any-one know if there will be a facility for printing from the ipod touch???
