is there anyway to change the google search function to use google mobile instead of the regular google search?

anyone have any idea? it would make so much more sense for the search to use the iphone optimized google interface rather than the pc interface

The whole point of the Mobile Safari Browser is that you can have a PC optimized website on a mobile device. But, I think if you log into your google account, you can set it to display as the mobile interface. Not sure, just a guess.

if i go to google.com in safari on my ipod, it automatically detects my ipod and directs me to google's ipod/iphone optimized site. if i click on the address bar at the top of safari and use the built in google search, it uses the standard google interface. I would like to set this to use the iphone optimized interface (www.google.com/m) to search if this is possible in some way.
