On your mobile are the duplicated items the ones that are currently downloaded. For example I downloaded a new album with my all access today and then decided to buy it - however I bought it on iTunes as it was €2 cheaper. I then synced my iTunes library to Google music via music manager. On my Android device then it showed the album alongside the already downloaded version previous. I had to delete the first version and then re-download and then no more duplicated album.
