Google music through Safari?

I have been steaming music from Google music since it's service is cheaper and offers more like Youtube Red and etc at $7.99. I have been noticing it freezing on Safari and glitching up while it doesn't on chrome but Chrome eats more battery so i tend to stick with Safari. Is it Flash that is doing this?

I've always just used it on Chrome, I'm not sure what causes it to run so poorly on Safari.

Google services tend to work better on Chrome. I have coworkers who use gmail and google docs with Internet explorer and it just doesn't work that great.

on my windows laptop windows stuff works fine
