I was just wondering if anyone has a quick answer.
I have an Imac and receive e-mail all hours of the day and night for work and currently use Google Notifier to send me audio alerts so I don't miss any important messages. Kind of a weird request but does anyone know how to do this...when I lay my head down at night to catch a few hours of sleep I would like to still to be able to hear an audio alert when I get new e-mail. ( I work weird and unusual hours) If I set my computer energy saver to never sleep and my screen to never turn off isn't that harmful to my computer? How (or) can I get audio alerts while my computer is sleeping? If so what settings in my Imac preferences and Google Notifier preferencs do I need?

Thanks in advance.
