I love Google photos, but I’ve noticed that the image quality of the photos on my iPhone is reduced compared to when I view my google photos in Safari on my iMac. The detail is totally fine in my iMac, but when viewing the iPhone version of the same photo, I can see a downgrade in quality.

Does anyone else experience this or know of a solution to this problem, I’d love to be able to use Google Photos for the long haul.

I think you have to click them and “download” - this will save it in camera roll and i think the version in google photos will appear better quality.

I get the same issue when i airplay google photos to Apple TV, the quality is bad on old photos i.e. those that are not in my camera roll
