Google Play on iPad

I have a Galaxy S6 and love Android for my phones. Been using it for years. I have the nexus 9 tablet but am looking at buying an iPad Air 2 as a tablet for myself and either selling the nexus or giving it someone.

My question is imhave a lot of Google Play movies and use Google Play Music. How is the Movies interface on the iPad? I'm not interested in buying movies on iTunes. Can you Chromecast movies and download movies with the Google Play Movies app on iOS? Is it a good experience?

You can download your movies through the google play movies/TV shows app. The app itself is ok and you can cast to the chromecast. My only issue is that it only supports playback/downloads in SD when viewing on your iPad or iPhone. You can however steam to the chromecast in HD.
