Heaven or Hell
i have a small Google search question......

i have a facebook account with my real name as my title. As of now, when you google my name, it does not pop up, but can i risk my name popping up in a google name search ?

the reason being that i am really not interested in some potential employers seeing my facebook account.........

thanks

hmmmm I have heard of Face book but don't know exactly what it is, have you tried doing a name search, if you stated that when you google your self you do not pop up would a name search not be the same?

have you tried other search engines to see if your name does pop up!?

No, Facebook profiles will not show up in a Google search, nor will any of your info.

Ahem. ;)

The popular online social network Facebook is going to be accessible through search engines beginning in October.

Facebook engineer Philip Fung made the announcement on the Web site's blog on September 5, describing what Facebook's staff is calling "public search listings."

Was I wrong? Didn't think so. ;)

Pedant. :D

Anyway, don't put stuff on the web you don't want anyone to know. Full stop.

One day, it'll be the height of cool again to be incognito, instead of spraying every detail of your private life around the place like a frenzied tomcat. :D ;)
