Google Readers "Note In Reader"

Is there a way to add the "note in reader" button in order to share items with Google Friends with the iPad?

Don't think it's possible through Google Reader on Safari but I'm pretty sure it's possible in Reeder, which is fantastic for Google Reader feeds and much better than the web interface.

I figured it would be in Reeder, but wondered about when you are just surfing random sites...like may something from Reddit that you wanted to share that was not in your RSS feeds
