Do you have this warning too ? I've already unchecked and rechecked the box, but it doesn't go away. Thanks in advance

This is what worked for me: In the Finder choose Go> Go to Folder type the following in the search field: /private/var/folders You'll see folders like 72 , zz etc. Look for a folder com.Apple.Safari (in my case it was in 72>C) and delete SafeBrowsing.db. On restarting Safari a new SafeBrowsing.db is automatically created and the warning no longer appears MacBookAir - Mavericks 10.9.2
