Hi there,
I've already been discussing over in the buying tips and advice forum about purchasing a new Mac and mentioned that Google SketchUp was an important factor - however, all I've gotten is that it's going to work...which I already knew.
I was glad for the help, but I'm looking for more specific information:
Will the 4GB of RAM in the MBP make much difference when working with 20MB+ models in Google SketchUp, as compared to the 2GB on the MB?
I can run it on an old Toshiba laptop with an 80GB hdd and less than a GB of RAM, but I've come across old things on the internet (circa 06-08) where SketchUp would run very slowly on Macs.
Any help would be much appreciated.
