google talk contact problems

I've noticed in the last day or two that my most frequently contacted contact in google talk on my iphone is no longer visible. She appears if i search for her, but her name is not displayed in my contacts list.

If I do a search for her in ichat or using the online gmail interface, she is there, just not on my iphone.

I'm using a 16gb iphone 3g and my firmware is all up to date (2.0.2). Is anyone else having similar problems? Better still, does anyone have any solutions?

I've only used Google Talk 3-4 times on my iPhone but I noticed one of my frequently contacted friends didn't show up at all on there, even though my computer showed she was online at the time.

I just started using Google Talk/Chat and I have noticed the same problem.
