google talk is coming for iphone. It is a very important news for me, because I am thinking between ordering 200 txt per month ($5) and 1500 txt per month ($15) with my Iphone 3G when I get it. Most my friends have gmail, my wife has google talk on her blackberry so it will dramatically reduce my txt message use if it is true. To save $10 a month is big. Because of nature of my work I text more than I call (work in environment when calling is disruptive). But again I am wondering how it will work.

What does receiving emails as text messages have to do with limiting text message usage by using an instant messenger?
