Google Talk Plug-in

Since Catalina requires all apps be 64-bit - I've either deleted those (32-bit) I don't need or updated those I do.

Am now stuck:

.....is there anyone out there using Google Talk, which is integrated into the Gmail app, and its required Talk plug-in?
My current plug-in (version 5.41.3) is 32-bit

On their plug-ins web site Google show a 64-bit Talk plugin that appears to be for Windows only.

Has anyone found a 64-bit plug-in yet?
