iPad Google talk & Voice to text

Does anyone know of an app, that will allow me to use Google Talk on my ipad? I found talk lite, but it does not sync the history with my other devices.

Likewise, I know there is a way to do voice to text as I've seen people do it with their iphone, how do I do that?

There is Talkatone for iPhone, not sure if it works on iPad

I use the Google Voice for iPhone app on my ipad 4 and it works quite well for texting. I can send and receive texts using it.
