Google Translate Photo Pictures on iPhone 6?

On the android, I was able to use the google translate app to take pics from camera or upload photos containing text to translate. I can't seem to find this function on the ios version of google translate. Am I missing something here or is it purposely ommitted by google?

No one is surprised you can't do this with the iPhone?

I do something similar with a program called World Lens. Except it trys to translate the image in real time on the screen as your looking at it.

Right now the in-app purchase language translations are free.
