google video/ utube in a movie

Im creating a presentation for school on the panama canal.. I would like to use videos found on google video and or utube in my imovie.. How can i save these to my computer so i can use them in my movie?
Are there any sites that will give high resolution videos for free? Thanks.

Try PodTube to get YouTube videos. Google Video has a button right there on the screen that allows you to download the video.

I use that to download videos, then use iSquint to convert them to mp4.
