So I tried to download the newly released Google Voice app for iPhone on my iPad. I kept getting the error message "You request cannot be completed" in the App Store. I then searched for Ggogle Voice in the App Store; it didn't show up, either!

So Google Voice does NOT work on iPad, only on iPhone?

Even if it doesn't, it should still show up in the App store, though!?

You can download it through your Mac but can't install it on the iPad, the same happens with many similar apps, like Whatsapp.

I don't think it will show up if it is strictly an iPhone app. I think there were a few cases of this happening with camera apps as well.

Sorry, didn't know there was a thread about it already! :D. I only looked in this section and the iPad Apps section.

So now I know Google Voice ONLY works with iPhone, not iPad or iPod Touch. Kind of disappointed. :D. I currently use Skype and netTalk. It would be nice to have another app like those. Thanks for the info, and thanks to the other posters as well.

I wouldn't have known either except it happened to have the most recent post when browsing the iPad section. Just thought you might some more answers there.
