Hi, English language is not my mother tongue and Siri is driving me nuts all the time! I have the google app installed on my iPhone and it is surprisingly accurate and fast in recognising my spoken words. But it seems all it does is doing google searches. Is there any other apps to get the google voice recognition to make calls and send messages etc?

I'm sorry you don't find Siri to be up to par with what Google has; But to answer your question at the moment there is no way of achieving this without a jailbreak.

The Google app is a search app only.
It cannot perform the functions which Siri is able to do.

By the way, I also find Google to be a better voice search app than Siri

Thanks for all replies. It seems I'll have to wait until Apple change Siri to work with international accents or buy another phone..

Currently these are your only options.

You can copy and paste dictation but you won't get Siri type functionality. Siri is hit or miss for me too. It's really bad at names so using it for directions with street names can be really tricky at times.
