Google website, search results ios 8

Hello,
am a legit developer - paid for though apple website.

am havin a prob with ios 8/ safari/ Google website.

very minor issue - have reposted to apple,

but was just wondering if anyone had experienced ? ...
or wether I need to reinstall the GM.

so basically...
when I use the google website on safari,
type in my search in the search box ...
then Google automatically suggests an alternative search sentence ...

when i click on the alternative, via the drop down box that appears automatically ...
it doesn't respond ? ...
can't click on it ?
anyone else have this issue with ios 8 GM ?

The GM is not a beta. I was able to do a Google Search, tap on one of the search suggestions and it proceeded as normal

Mine doesn't even suggest anything. And it's turned on, what gives
