Google will make free ‘legacy’ G Suite accounts pay for its office apps starting in July

The free edition will no longer be available starting July 1st.

You have to pay monthly to keep:

• Any purchases made under any of the accounts
• The Google Voice number associated with any of the accounts (transferring to a @gmail address not allowed)
• Other account specific stuff for Photos, YouTube, Google Maps etc.

Mail and Photos I can deal with…and I can start over in YouTube, Maps and so forth. The GV number is a shame but I haven't been answering it in a year…I'll get another one for junk SMS stuff.
