Anyone have any idea when the Chrome web browser will be available for macs ???

It will be a few months still, but there is a program called Stainless that is very similar.

You could also subscribe to the Official Google Mac Blog. I'm sure when it's released you'll hear about it there pretty fast.

Stainless is an 0.1 "Beta" (sounds more like a public Alpha to me). I wouldn't recommend it for anything approaching production work.

Yeah, I should have mentioned that. It's not really useable, more a 'proof of concept.'
