Google's iPhone portal (www.google.com/m) doesn't give the appearance of supporting SSL... when I go to login, it doesn't change the address bar to https (as it does when I login using the normal google interface). If I manually change it to https on the iphone, it changes it back to http.

However, I noticed that if I go to www.google.com/m and login on my laptop, it does display https in the address bar. So I'm wondering if it is actually secure on the iPhone (maybe it doesn't reflect that in its address bar for some reason)

Any thoughts?
