Hi all---I just got the new 14 inch pro and I love how it looks and it’s not even much heavier than the 13 inch retina MBP from 2013 that I’m upgrading from. I’ve never really used one of the force touch trackpads beyond using it for a little while from a 2015 MBP.....so I am used to the trackpad clicking.
I have to say that out of the box this force touch trackpad feels just unusable to me. The tracking doesn’t feel accurate at any speed compared to my old one. And whatever setting I put for weak or strong click the trackpad just keeps registering clicking that I’m not doing or wanting--selecting things as I am moving my finger.
I feel like I must not have it configured properly since people rave about this trackpad...but why are even the default settings this bad? What am I doing wrong here?
