So i got this iMac off eBay for just £2.15! It's a tangerine model with a 10 gig HD and 160 mb RAM, running 10.3.9. Actually came with Word for mac installed. Gonna get a usb dongle to get it on the web. My only complaint is that I can't sync my iPhone.

Thanks. Probabbly gonna upgrade the RAM at some point. It's not bad for the apps installed but I would imagine it's quite slow on the web.

Awesome! I've never really seen any orange ones before; usually blue was the most common I thought.

:eek:that's the exact same spec (but i had a 6gig hdd) that my first imac was but i paid £25

I'd change the hard drive out too. I've bought six G3 iMacs in the last few years and the hard drive of every one has died after a few months of proper use if it wasn't dead already.

Give it a speedy 80-120gb drive and 512mb of RAM and it'll speed up to no end. They're still very usable computers!

wow a original :)and for a absolute bargain price :eek:so i guess you got enough left over for getting a bit more ram , as there is nothing these little buggers like more then getting ram :D

they like to take two 144-pin PC66 SO-DIMM 256mb and a great opportunity to clean it inside as the original iMac have a little fan inside
here a how too
