I‘m still sporting my Series 2 AW. It’s in great condition & still has all day battery life. I hadn’t planned on replacing it this year, especially since I just had the expense of upgrading from the 6s+ to the 13 (OMG, SO worth it!). Unbeknownst to me till I tried to pair, support for the series 2 ended with iOS 14, so I’ve had an unpaired watch for the last two weeks.

Not the end of the world, but I DO miss my paired watch. If I get a new watch, I want the latest health sensors, so the series 3 and SE were out.

I just purchased a refurb 44mm aluminum series 6 for $329 from Apple. That’s $100 less than the 45mm series 7! For me I think that’s a great decision. Just posting in case there are others who have an older watch & aren’t ready to make the jump to the 7. With Apple’s return policy & warranty, I’m comfortable purchasing a refurbished watch, but I know it’s not for everyone. :)

My refurb 6 arrived this morning. It was beautifully packaged just like a new watch with a new band in its own separate box. The watch did have refurbished in small print on the packaging. Other than that, it’s like a watch straight from the factory.

It‘s a nice jump from the 2 and a better fit for my budget than the 7. :D My first refurb from Apple, and I’m impressed.

I've had great success with Apple refurbished products. I'd have no objection to buying one as long as the discount was acceptable. Enjoy the watch! I bet it's a huge improvement.
