Hey all, just thought I'd share my buying experience of the new 13" non-touch bar rMBP.

Simply Mac was (is still?) having a trade in promotion giving an extra $100 on 2012 or newer MacBook trade ins. I traded in my 13" mid-2012 mbp and got $500 plus a bonus $100.

Additionally, Simply Mac held a class on Saturday teaching Sierra OS and the first five people in line got a free $200 certificate toward a new Mac purchase. There were only two people in my class lol. I think the same promotion might happen again this weekend, not sure though.

I also was eligible for the $50 student discount.

All together: 1500-500-100-200-50= $650!

There was some trouble stacking the $200 voucher and the student discount, but it ended up working. It clearly said on the voucher that it WAS able to be stacked with other Mac promotions.

My old mid-2012 mbp was in great shape, but this new rMBP is so nice!
