Got a GTX285..and then discovered..

Been looking, reading, etc..any manner to get this and the driver to work with the 2,1 Mac Pro on PCIe 1.0?

Can you return it? If not, how much would you sell it for? Not necessarily saying that I would buy it, but I am a sucker for good deals.

However, I am sure someone must be working on this so hope you find the not so costly answer.

I could probly return it, but I want to keep in good faith with the supply house that allows me to buy stuff with them, and avoid retail markups, and sales taxes.

I would be OK with a small loss to keep that relationship...but if any hacks showed up, I'd try them first.


Basucally, I want as much CUDA processing as I can get into this 2,1 box.

What are the specs of the MP 2,1? I know what a 1,1 is and I have a 3,1...

It's the April 2007 8 core 3GHz Mac Pro.
