Could you check if there is a "Test Network" option in the settings menu like the old Apple TV? It would probably be under Network, if it exists. Netflix's help page says to use it for troubleshooting, but the pre-release build I have doesn't seem to offer the option anywhere.

(If you do find it, what kind of results does it return? like DL/UL speed?)

I'm not sure what info you're looking for, but I did notice that speedtest.net has an Apple TV app now. I haven't downloaded it yet, but I'm sure it'll provide the same sort of detail that their other apps do... ping times and upload and download speeds.

Yeah. I was about to say that. There's a Speedtest.net app that you can run to see your speed. Won't help on DNS problems though.
