And guess what. The Apple service center did a great job. The MBA came back with no new scratches or dents. The hinges work perfect on the new lid and the display is flawless. Im pretty shocked. Granted this is my work mac, and I would not have been so quick to take my 2015 13" rMBP there for the same work if needed. But since I did and it came out so well, I would feel good about taking mine in if needed. I do have a single stuck pixel on my rMBP that takes me 10 minutes to find and obsess over, but I can look past that for a while. Anyway, I just wanted to let the MAC Rumor people know that not all encounters with apple service/service centers is bad. Carry on.
