So after being laid off early in December I finally landed a REAL job interview on Friday. I'm going into this already assuming that I'm one of many who'll be up for the position. What I'm wondering about is if anyone has any advise for me. The job is right up my alley in experience and field but does anyone have any advise to prevent any social awkwardness or nervousness. Scare away interview butterflies if you will.

For the curious, it's a graphic design job for a new marketing/SEO firm.

If you're worried about being nervous, some people take propranolol for performance anxiety... of course you'd have to see your doctor before Friday to get that.

Make sure you've read up on the company (to the extent that that's possible with a new company).

And as far as being nervous, remember that the person/people interviewing you are hoping that you're the one they're looking for. :) They want the interview to go well, too - that makes their decision an easy one.
