Got my first Mac! Problems...

I just got my new iMac yesterday. Whenever I try to download software (not widgets), I get a .sitx file. Whenever I try opening it, it says there is no application for loading the file. Also, I only tried this on Windows Media Play on microsoft's website.

You need Stuffit Expander. Anything v7.0 or later.

No. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Stuffit Expander is free and all you need.

There should be a free version. Stuffit Basic I think.
