Hi guys.
Just purchased my first mac today and am loving it. Aside from the iphone its the best thing i have ever purchased. Its the latest 21.5'' model from the apple store. I was up and running in 5 minutes, great piece of kit.
Is there anything I should be looking to download ? The only thing I have download is Google Chrome. Any recommendations ?
Cheers !

I would like photos of your new iMac in your setup, just to convince me to buy one next week.

Congrats with your purchase, I hope it'll last you a long time! =)

VLC Media Player, Steam, and Firefox are the 3 apps I immediately downloaded when I first got my Mac. VLC will play any video file you throw at it.

MPlayerX is a very popular VLC alternative in the Mac App Store that gets great reviews. I'd also recommend The Unarchiver (also in the Mac App Store) very good with RAR and ZIP files. Also, ANGRY BRIDS!!!!!!!!! :)

Trust me you wouldn't want a picture right now, The 'desk' is a mess. Will hopefully have a brand new desk next week.

Will take a look at them as well :D

Onyx for maintenance. Just check mark the maintenance scripts for daily, weekly and monthly and it will keep your Mac running its best.

Ok here's a picture. Not great quality and excuse the 'desk'. I'll have a brand new one next week.
