Got my free bumper delivered today

It just arrived now. Decided to go with the regular black bumper. Nice delivery time

it's not too bad. it's a pretty sharp looking piece of plastic. i have to say though, it seems be a little weird flipping the vibrate switch with the bumper on. you kinda have to reach into the hole in order to flip it.

mine shipped on the 26th and was delivered today to Minneapolis
 
I received mine yesterday, which was much quicker than expected. I'm debating on whether to open mine or not, since I like my Casemate "Barely There" case better. Maybe I can sell this bumper once Apple stops giving them out for free?
 
got mine today as well. i ordered within 15 minutes off the app going live. i dont feel any looseness that some users have stated. its a very tight fit. one thing i immediately noticed was the extra weight. I am still going to go naked/sena ultraslim though :)

I have a bumper that fits loose still :(

If I pay you a dollar or 2 for shipping, will you send me yours if you don't ever plan on using it?
 
yeah it doesn't necessarily take away from the thin-ness per say because it doesn't have the bulge like in the previous 2 generations.

however it will suck for using it in my car radio transmitter.

He means: this thread is stupid. which it is. Do you really care if some random guy in Minnesota received his free bumper today, with nothing else in his post? Last time I checked this was a support and discussion forum, not Twitter.
 
Congrats! The black case is nice because when it gets dirty it's harder to see.
 
Yeah, well, thing is when you start being sarcastic, the other person doesn't feel that good. Another unrelated thread on t3h Internetss is not that much of a trouble...

There's tons of threads in this forum about many random things and I guess the OP was happy and excited he received his bumper.
If you're not interested in his post you move on and you dont post acting rude and negative. As per the boards rules be constructive, Do not post in order to anger other members or intentionally cause negative reactions. Situations like that can get you banned.
 
Apparently mine should be in the mailbox when I get home :D

how thin is it? I still have yet to see one in the flesh but I've heard even though it's a rubberband thing it's pretty high quality for what it is--with metal buttons and all

i suppose the reason i was motivated to start this thread was to show how quickly i received my bumper and possibly to see if other people were receiving them already. last time i checked, there were varying delivery times, even deliveries happening in the UK earlier this week.

i also found it interesting that the original expected delivery for me was set as september 2nd.

First, you are joking right? It is less than 0.3 oz. I highly doubt you can tell the difference.

Second, mine fits pretty tight.
