So honoured to be among the first buyers of the iPhone 5s! I reserved my phone online few days earlier and was lucky enough to secure my place after trying for 1.5 hours.

The process in the Apple Store IFC (Hong Kong) was very smooth as only reserved customers are allowed today and they did check people's ID cards before allowing them to go into the store. After queuing up for about 10 minutes we're led to the cashier, got our phone, and paid, as I chose an unlocked phone, they even didn't open the box and let me take the phone in the bag right away. That was really efficient!

In the queue a newspaper reporter tried to interview me but I rejected lol.

Taken with a 5S?

Haha I still haven't opened the box yet. I used an iPhone 5 to take the photo. Will definitely post some sample photos after I restore the phone! :)

Were there any scalpers asking to buy your iPhone for a higher price? :p

Congrats. It's Mid Autumn Moon Festival in Asia yet I have a major meeting all day on the 20th.

My employees are off and I hired someone to get in line for me.

I may give the phone away for a prize since our quarterly bonuses are due and I wanna give it as a gift to the hardest working employee.

Oh well.

But not many people in lines in HK. Just a lot more white and grey iPhones than Gold phones. I heard the gold sold out within an half hour.

Me also, 1 to 3 Business days. Sometime next week?
