Lol, if you're waiting in line at a carrier store, you're doing it wrong. Got myself a 32 GIG silver iPhone without having to wait a single second. I'm in NYC and went to a Sprint store nowhere near Manhattan.

They didn't have any iPhones 5s's at the store, but they will order me one and I'll pick it up Monday afternoon. I could wait a couple days.

How my day went so far:
1. Woke up @ 6
2. Showered, got dress @ 6:30
3. Read bunch of threads here to see how things gone down @ 7
4. Headed out to Radioshack @ 8:20, got there @ 9:20
5. Didn't get phones yet so went to Sprint @ 9:22ish
6. Got to Sprint @ 9:25, didn't have 16 gigs so I went back to RS
7. @ 9:28, got back to RS, they didnt know when they would get their phones so I went back to Sprint
8. @ 9:32 went back to sprint and ordered. Was told only space grey but when they were doign my order, saw there was more Silver. I changed to Silver. Got 32 gigs but better then nothing.

Ordered my phone without any hassles. I didn't leave with the phone in hand, but I'll get it afterschool Monday. We walked right in, we got the phone, we left.

/useless thread, just happy I got something.

Let's see pictures Monday when you actually get it. I think they may have lied to you (in typical NYC fashion) to get you to order it.

Doing it wrong? Really? I got up and dressed and drove to my local att store just after 7, waited inline for about 20 minutes, they called my name and within 10 minutes I was driving down the road WITH MY PHONE IN HAND. So the one who is doing it wrong sounds like its you...as I have my phone and you do not. Have a great weekend with your old phone...:D

how do you know he speaks english as his first language?

you do know that america isn't the ONLY country on the map, right?

ignorant americans sometimes.. smh

If you're going to defend someone, which I appreciate, then at least don't show your ignorance at the same time.

SOME Americans are ignorant, not all, some. As I presume SOME people in EVERY country can be considered ignorant.

OP, do you have your phone or not? I'm not clear on it.

Thumbs up.

And exactly. I'm not pointing out spelling errors or anything else. Just the fact that he said "got my phone" but later says he's going to pick it up.

You know he is from America right??

he could have came to america from another country, hence the language barrier.

again, another ignorant american.

Hmm... I think you need to look up the definition of the verb 'to get' ;)

But hope you enjoy it on Monday when you finally do get it.
