I just got this thing and when I click the trackpad it feels and *sounds* less tight/precise/premium. There's this cheap-sounding faint metallic clicky sound going on if I compare to say an M2 14" MBP I have in the house. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing similar?

Don’t have this issue with mine. Been on it all day since it arrived yesterday evening. Have had 4 pro’s and a couple of airs. The trackpad is DEFINETELY better than my airs. Have you played with sounds at all to change the clicking noise? I get a solid click on mine.

mine is normal just all my other mbp's over the years but i do turn on tap to click as soon as i can.

You do know the trackpad doesn't move?
No but sometimes they *do* work their way loose, or a screw may not be fully tightened. I've seen some complaints from M1 owners that it's a bit more wobbly than it was when new.

Does it feel grainy?
