Got my macbook Just a question now though - what application is it you use for the iSight Camera to record videos

You can do that in iMovie. Select Import from Camera and you're away!

Memory stick or external hard-drive?

Just drag them from the PC onto your chosen storage format, and drop them onto the iPhoto icon or open iPhoto and drop them in there.

How do i get iwork 08? Isnt there a free trial?

I would have thought it was already installed! Check in the finder --> applications. There should be a trial for it in there.

Quicktime works also

I have Quicktime pro and I record from my isight with QT.

Go here for your trial -

if iWork 08 is not installed, you can just put in the DVD that came with the MacBook (Disk 1) and install the trial from there. Without having to download the trial!

It's under one of the install options, maybe optional installs. You can just deselect everything else, and check the iWork 08 trial.

Don't have my disks with me so I can't be more specific, but I'm sure you can find it, it's pretty easy!

1.) you need httpmail
2.) See this guide. I have used ipoddisk in the past for this very task.

Try adium, most people recommend this over messenger for mac.

I would (as would most Mac users) recommend Adium here over MSN. You can download custom dock icons and themes too.

Also, Senuti which is here, is great for getting tracks off of an iPod back into iTunes, and uses a very similar interface too.

Find the application in your Applications folder and drag it to the Trash

Do you mean where you can specify where an object moves and create paths for it.

If so select the object and open up Inspector, then the third tab "build" you select "Action"

I don't think that Adium offers video chat, but you can use iChat which comes with your Mac.

Thanks for that - but when I go and set up iChat, there is no option for Windows Messenger / MSN.

Anybody know of a program like Windows Messenger which has the ability for video chat or just for me to be able to put my iSight camera on so that the person I am talking to can see me?
